A New Season, A Bigger Commitment to Delaware High School Sports

As summer begins to fade and the fall high school sports season gets underway, 1ststatesports is excited to expand its coverage of Delaware high school athletics.

Football, cross country, field hockey, boys soccer and girls volleyball are all getting ready to take center stage—and this fall, we want to make sure every sport, every team and every student-athlete has an opportunity to be seen and recognized.

For us, high school sports are about much more than scores. They are about the athletes putting in the work, the coaches who dedicate countless hours to their teams, the parents and families in the stands, and the communities that come together to support their schools.

That’s why 1ststatesports is expanding its coverage this fall.

We want to bring Delaware sports fans more scores, results, updates, stories, photos, highlights and recognition from across the state. Whether it’s a Friday night football game, a cross-country meet, a field hockey matchup, a boys soccer battle or a girls volleyball showdown, we want to be there.

But we can’t do it alone.

We want the Delaware sports community to help us stay informed.

If you’re a coach, athletic director, parent, player, fan, photographer or simply someone who loves Delaware high school sports, we want to hear from you. Send us your scores. Send us your updates. Tell us about a player having a great season. Let us know about a big performance, an exciting matchup or a story happening in your community.

If it matters to Delaware high school sports, we want to know about it.

Our goal is simple: give Delaware student-athletes the exposure and recognition they deserve.

This fall is another step forward for 1ststatesports, and we’re excited to continue building a platform that represents high school sports across the entire First State—not just one sport, one school or one community.

Football. Cross Country. Field Hockey. Boys Soccer. Girls Volleyball.

If you’re out there covering it, playing it, coaching it or supporting it, help us tell the story.
