1st Team All State, 2029 G Amoree Anderson, has transferred and will now attend St Elizabeth (DE). The rising sophomore is arguably the states top player, carries a 90s Scouts Grade from ESPN, & is widely regarded as one of the top young prospects in the country. Anderson who plays AAU with New York based EYBL Team Exodus will now join the defending Delaware girls basketball state champions who will be the heavy favorites to repeat this upcoming season. She will join an already impressive backcourt that touts young standout talent such as 2029 Taylor Tucker, 2028 Gabrielle Royal, & 2028 Amaya Wilson. With this guard play & frontline it will allow St Elizabeth to pursue a regional schedule this season and already have some great competitive matchups locked in. After wearing #5 last season, Amoree will switch to #0 as St Elizabeth plans to retire #5 in honor of former standout/great & current Delaware State University Women’s Basketball Head Coach, Khadijah Rushdan. The retirement ceremony is planned to take place on December 4th as St Elizabeth hosts ECS.
